A LITTLE ABOUT US
A Universal Toy for Children
AND Adults...
Let the magic begin!
Hey there! I'm Joyce and my daughter, Rena, just recently turned 4 years old. She was still 3 years old when we started working on our site. We recently started collecting these little LEGO bricks about middle of 2015. My husband put together a zombie prison set and I was baffled at how small all the pieces were! I had never played with this particular style of LEGO when I was a little girl. My parents got me more into K'NEX. I loved playing with these and still have my old sets. Also, I was used to the bigger LEGO pieces. I did have this style of LEGO when I was little, and had played with my daughter's sets of these too. Rena and I love to watch Disney films together, who doesn't, but we thought we'd try out the Rapunzel tower and Cinderella Castle. It took awhile to get used to, but I got the hang of it. My daughter was still a little too young to put these together, but loved to play with the finished products once put together. I was hooked and started looking for more of the Disney sets to put together and let Rena play with. Not long after, my Mother-in-Law got my husband's old LEGO sets out of the attic. It was my first taste of custom building with little LEGO bricks. Rena and I had a blast playing with his old LEGO pieces. Then, I noticed a couple of LEGO Friends sets that looked pretty interesting to try out. We learned all about the main characters of that show, and enjoyed playing with them too!
Around the holidays, we got a couple of great deals on some bigger Classic sets for our collection. From there, we had enless possibilities for custom creating with our pieces. As Rena grew last year, she got better at putting pieces together to form different creations of her own. I'm still teaching and helping her, but she's getting there. After looking up different videos on YouTube of other LEGO creations, I decided that we should try it too! It makes for a great mother-daughter time together, and we get to share our results. We hope to add to our collection and add to our site. Thank you!
